Global Warming is real and it is here to stay until we all take action. Here is how we can start helping through fashion!

Many companies in the fashion industry are starting powerful movements in order to aid the planet and help end global warming. The fashion industry is known for producing a large amount of garments each year, which means many of these items go to waist and end up polluting. Here are a few stores who are taking matters into their own hands.
1. H&M
Not only is H&M a very sustainable friendly store but they now take in old clothing and recycle it! You can visit any H&M store and drop off your old clothing. (It does not have to be H&M pieces!) Contact a worker and they will reward you, for such action, with a voucher. By recycling your old clothes you are not only saving the planet, but helping sell the clothing as second-handed for people in need or turning your old clothing into new objects like cleaning cloths.
If you have any other questions or want a further explanation remember to visit their website to learn more about this movement!
2. Madewell
Now, Madewell also has a recycling program but it includes jeans. Have any old jeans just sitting there in your closet? Head over to Madewell! It can also be any type of jean and from any brand. In return they will give you a $20 coupon for your next purchase of Madewell jeans! By donating your jeans you will be helping organizations like Habitat for Humanity!

3. The North Face
The North Face is now accepting old clothing at their stores. If you have any unwanted clothing pieces remember to swing by your nearest The North Face store and you will receive a $10 off your next purchase of $100 or more. The clothing can also be any brand or style. These items will be given to Soles4Souls, which provides disaster relief through your recycled clothing and shoes!
If you have any other questions or want a further explanation remember to visit their website to learn more about this movement!
4. Levi's
Levi's stores and outlets will have recycling boxes where you may also drop your old jeans or denim items. Once again, they may be any brand or style. By donating, you will receive a 20% off your next purchase. Your jeans will be used to help community programs and organizations.

Little by little the fashion industry is starting to make a difference so be on the look out for recycling programs at your favorite stores. Next time you visit the mall make sure to swing by any of these stores to make sure they have recycling boxes before taking in your clothing. Not only will you receive a voucher in many of these stores, but the the planet will thank you for your help! We must start making a difference.
